Hiya,
Well, I have good news. I’ll be having surgery to remove the cancer in it’s entirety this Thursday at Noon Pacific time. YAY. It’s sure been a LOOOONNNNGGG journey to get here and I’m so glad it’ll finally be done and dusted. Recuperation will take some weeks but I’ll be slowly coming back to painting in the next few weeks or so and I’m looking forward to participating in November’s “Art Everyday Challenge” with Leah @Creative Everyday. You can sign up for the challenge with me here. I do this challenge every year and it always sets me up for a great, creative Christmas.
This has probably been the hardest year of my life but I’m so lucky that I get to be a survivor of cancer. They’ll be doing a total hysterectomy and, assuming there are no unforeseen complications, it should be the only thing I need. I don’t think I’ll need chemo afterwards so 2019 will be a banner year, I’ll be able to look forward with no worries. It feels like a new lease on my life, I must say.
In other news. I talked to Wet Paint the other day and they say there are now less than 70 of my Custom Schmincke Palettes left! So, if you’ve been holding off and you still really want one of those rainbow tins filled with 12 half pans of Schmincke watercolors, you’ll want to purchase now. They’ll certainly be gone by Christmas. If I won a little lottery money I’d buy up ALL the rest of the palettes and give them away each month, lol. Oh, and if anyone decides to buy a second palette (because it’s SUCH a great deal for the half pans alone), I’d be willing to purchase the extra tin if you don’t want it! I want to frame one for posterity but I’m not willing to give up USING the one I have, hahaha.
And finally… since it seems Bumble (my mascot) magnets are so popular, lol, I decided to take Sticker Mule up on a great deal they had. I got bumble on a pin! Now I’ll be able to use these as promotion and include one in each giveaway as I start up again after surgery. Thank you all for your caring and love. I sure appreciate my friends and readers. It’s humbling to have so many lovely people care about you.
Because I love you and love Sticker Mule, I wanted to share a link. If you want to join up with Sticker Mule you can get a $10 credit towards your first purchase! YAY! All you have to do is sign up to be a Sticker Mule customer and you’ll get a $10 credit you can use when you decide to buy.
Ok Everyone, I’ll see you on the other side! Can’t wait to have this all DONE. No more worries, this is gonna be one heck of a celebratory Christmas this year!
