I have been so lucky to work with Marcello, the owner of Da Vinci Paints, and other lovely people at the paint company. Da Vinci watercolors are my favorite watercolors of all time. That paint gets me. I’ve never had a paint do what I wanted it to so beautifully before. These paints are excellent artist quality watercolors that are made in the USA. They rewet like a dream and they don’t hardly shrink at all as they dry in the pans after being poured. I never have to fill a pan twice to get it filled after drying. Oh, did I mention, they are an amazing price? You can purchase a 37ml tube of Da Vinci watercolors for only a few dollars more than some brand’s 1/2 pans! How could an artist go wrong?
Below I’m coalescing all my links and blog posts about Da Vinci watercolors. Let this help you get to know Da Vinci, their Trios and all the sizes and colors available. I’ve done two Trios so far (two sets of three 8ml tubes) and soon there will be seven Trio sets on offer done by six artists! I will also be adding a list of my very favorite Da Vinci watercolors so you can see what I keep in my own palette. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me using the Contact Form, I love hearing from you!
