My friend Cynthia has published a lovely journal that helps Cristians keep their prayers and future plans organized. I wanted to review it for her. It’s an easy to use, pretty journal with lots of sections. Cynthia has also decorated many of the pages with her lovely drawings. They’re just awaiting your coloring skills. You can decorate your journal with just a set of colored pencils or pens. You can find “The Praying Woman’s Journal” in Amazon, right now it is $19.99 and has free shipping for Prime members.
What’s Included?
Here’s a break down of what’s in this comprehensive “Praying Woman’s Journal”:
- 12 mini calendars – to plan your monthly goings on.
- 424 prayer section for each day. This, I assume for people in the know, is a mnemonic device to help remember to Pray for FOUR new people to (TWO) pray for (FOUR). I’ve never heard of this but it’s an interesting thing to help remember to think of others.
- Monthly section – 13 are included. I’ll explain what’s included below.
- Verses to inspire.
- Contact list.
- Gift giving guide with “who – what – when – why” sections.
- Calligraphy basics explained by Cynthia.
- Tangle teases – Cynthia added some easy to do tangle patterns to help you decorate your journal.
- Blank grid – you can cut this out and photocopy it. Use it to practice calligraphy and tangle patterns.
- Test page for trying out different kinds of coloring supplies and pens.
- Cynthia included several bookmarks you can cut out and color yourself.
- Tabs – cut these out and use them to label sections by gluing them to the appropriate page.
Monthly Section:
There are monthly sections of sixteen pages each. The following is included in each of thirteen sections.
- Large calendar page – here you have enough space to write in stuff for each square. All you have to fill in is the numbers for the days.
- A 31 day planning list, one line for each day. This could coordinate to the large calendar above or it could supplement it.
- Special prayer request panel.
- Forgiveness panel.
- 31 scripture & verse “write it down” sections.
- A page/section for special scriptures that spoke to me section.
- Friends I want to reach out to.
- Two panels on how God’s hand was experienced this month.
- A blank page to fill in yourself and decorate/color.
the above verse is one of the ones included as inspiration in “The Praying Woman’s Journal“.
As you can see, this is a comprehensive and easy to use Praying Woman’s Bullet Journal. If you pray and want to keep track of it, this is the journal for you! You’ll love the easy to use sections, so much is included. Cynthia’s drawings are so pretty. I remember telling her years ago that her art was so etherial. It’s so fitting for a praying woman’s journal.
